Really recommend trying Loco Moco there.

Dani's Restaurant is a very good place to it and affordable. Also they have a lot of local grinds on their menu.

REALLY packed with LEAN pork Lau Lau and a generous serving of poi.

Quick and easy lunch right before closing. Made to order BLT and the pork, rice, and macaroni salad was nice.

Was expecting breakfast, but unfortunately they stop serving breakfast at 11(my fault). However, others after us walked out because they were wanting breakfast as well. Had the Loco Moco, wasn't bad but not a lot of flavor as others I have had on the island. Staff friendliness was fair.

I was told this was ‘traditional’ Hawaiian food. Rice and gravy with everything! I just had basic omlette. Charming, warm, and good food.

This is a great local diner like restaurant. The food is great and the portions are hearty without being too big. The prices are average for the island. Overall a great value and experience.

We were on vacation and needed to find a restaurant that opened early so we went here. It smells like stale cigarettes really bad and usually the smell of cigarettes dont bother me since I'm a smoker. My wife got a pork omelet and it looked grey and greasy, it did not taste good at all. I got sausage and eggs it was nothing special. Our server was nice.

Quick and delicious! Very reasonably priced. Very polite staff. Definitely recommend having cash.

Great breakfast foods with local roots.

Definitely not fancy but gets the job done. Mostly locals in there the morning we visited. Pineapple short stack, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast were cooked well. Fairly priced, $7.25 for eggs, toast, & bacon. And all the specials come with coffee.

Nice local place with good and reasonable priced food, great service and very kind staff, they open early at 5.00 which was very convenient for me

Eeeeeh...it's so so. Nothing that Wows at this place. Food was mediocre and service was below average. Kind of rude and just not pleasant. There is another establishment literally a couple hundred feet away that as well worth the visit. I'm sure the locals like the spot however as a tourist I really wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money here. Also. This restaurant charges almost a 4% up-charge to use a credit card.

Bomb local restaurant. Simple, clean and original. They have awesome food in genuine Hawaiian fashion. Get the loco Moco.

Good food. It's a popular local hangout. We found by mistake and really enjoyed it.

Old school local cuisine. Don't expect a fancy dining experience though, it's comfort food. But the food is DELICIOUS. Come for the good eats, not ambience, unless you're wanting nostalgia, then the decor and vibe will definitely be what you're looking for. Highly recommend!

I went for Lunch with my Gramz. She suggested the special. It was teri chicken. Then a bowl of tripe stew. Delicious.😋

Wish I could give a 0 I have never left a bad review before. Horrible don't waste your money or time. Our server was half way nice the other two women we seen were rude and snooty. Food was just so so not great. Rude, ugly atmosphere and not great food. Wish we had left we kept getting dirty looks because we are tourists and not locals. Go to Daddy'0s they have great food and are friendly and close.

Good food, good aloha. I had the Portuguese sausage and egg breakfast special. It was delicious and a great portion size. I ordered the eggs over easy that's exactly how I got them. The hash browns were nice and crisp.

After the opening of restaurant with covid-19 I visited Dani's last Friday. It was kind of scary, we sat on the tables near rice Street by the windows and there were people sitting close to our table on the right and left of us. I did not like that. The ham and cheese never disappoints but this time it was not quite up to par. They have some reorganizing to do.

The food was good and served hot. The place was clean but felt like it had been thrown together from several different restaurants. Overall I'd recommend it for the ohana.

Some of the best loco moco I've had here on the island! Service was quick. It's always a good thing when you walk in at 10a on a Friday and all the tables are almost full and there's still people pouring in. (That's the bacon cheeseburger loco moco - not picture: Portuguese sausage and pork patty - all of it was so ridiculous tasty) thanks for a great meal! (Also recommended to me by a local.)

Loco moco and kalua pig omelette was awesome!

Service without a smile. :( Unfriendly waitress who liked to drop the food and drinks on the table. Food had no presentation but was decent. Cafeteria style seat yourself with menus. Could be so much better if staff were friendly and smiled at all. We had such good things to say about Mark's place that I was confident about Dani's. Totally not worth it.

Basic standard good food. I like their beef stew and ahi.

While the breakfast menu shows it ends at 11 am, you can still order anything on it except french toast and pancakes. The server at this restaurant is rude and charged us for two "side dishs" ($8.00) when all we wanted were add ons ($2.00). The food is overpriced for the amount and quality you get. The restaurant interior is bleak and run down. The washrooms were also very dirty.

Nice local little joint. Made me feel like I was in a Bingo parlor. Staff is nice, food was good enough.

I love this restaurant because it's old school and is genuinely a good mom and pop establishment. Don't miss these guys just because there's road work on Rice Street. They're open and awesome. I recomend the ahi steak plate, get it rare.

[From the archives] Was seriously looking forward to this place as many of my legit, local friends highly recommended it. Was unfortunately disappointed. Corned beef hash tasted watery and straight out of the can. Hamburger steak was just ok. I want to give it another try though. Hopefully, it was just off that day.

We came here for breakfast in the morning and I'm so glad we did! It has a very home town restaurant feel to it, which is nice! It's not over the top but its comfortable. The Loco Moco I had was so good and my husband loved his breakfast as well! It's so fast to get seated and the service is on top with their time as well. They're very nice in there and they have a lot of options to choose from on their menu!
